AAU Courses and Cutoff Mark
How to Calculate AAU Aggregate Score
Before checking your departmental cut-off mark, you need to calculate your aggregate score. AAU combines your JAMB score and Post-UTME score using this formula:
Aggregate Score = (JAMB Score ÷ 8) + (Post-UTME Score ÷ 2)
Example:
If you scored 240 in JAMB and 70 in the Post-UTME, then:
- (240 ÷ 8) = 30
- (70 ÷ 2) = 35
Total Aggregate = 30 + 35 = 65
Once you have your aggregate, compare it with your course’s departmental cut-off mark.
